What you all are overlooking in this yammer is timing. There are very few days with enough water for a boat & on those early spring, high water days, the kayakers are not in that river yet. Look @ the pics! There isn’t any conflict. You all are making it up & creating an argument from nothing.

Paddlers need to watchout, but normally paddlers do have the right of way, unless they purposly get in the way of a power boat.

Not sure if anyone will ever be crazy enough or have the right boat for a 1st ascent on the northfork when its 4.5k+ cfs in early June (i.e. this year), but it you never know???
